Each school has the opportunity to create a replica of a landmark in their town or something representative of their community. The purpose of the competition is to provide children an opportunity to explore and learn about their town history, while at the same time, teaching children the value of teamwork, imagination and creative building.

Race a Car at the Roaming RacewayYour kids will have the opportunity to race their favorite cars around the Roaming Race Track for $2.00 a race. Each additional race will be $1.00.

Teach your children the gift of giving! This area is where your child can build a LEGO ornament for $1.00 and hang it on the Christmas Trees at the show. After the event, proceeds will be donated to Channel 3 Kids Camp and The Village for Families & Children, Inc. The LEGO trees will be donated to places like the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, the Department of Children and Families, Festival of Lights, etc.

LEGO KidsFest is holding a spectacular giveaway at the show for one lucky family to experience an exciting trip to LEGOLAND California. The park has more than 50 super rides, interactive shows and amazing attractions. The winner will be awarded an all-inclusive package for four people, including airfare, round trip limo rides to and from the airport in CT and CA, 4 nights and 5 days at an affiliated hotel. “Sure, we know, you love your kids. You brought them to the LEGO KidsFest after all. But, after the 37th “Can I have that?” and the nineteenth trip to the potty, you might need a little break. This is why Comcast has the Comcast Parent’s Oasis; a quiet place to sit, a football game in HD, a cup of coffee, a chair massage or a handful of Aspirin - all designed to rejuvenate you to give you the strength for the 38th “Can I have that?” As a parent, you know that sometimes this is all it takes to bring you back. Comcast – Dream Big.”
Face Painters and Caricature ArtistsFace painters and caricature artists will be at LEGO KidsFest to create your child’s favorite animal and funny faces.
