About LEGO® Education
LEGO® Education provides hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematic curriculum-based solutions for teachers and students. Our products, curriculum, and activities engage and motivate while addressing state and national content standards. LEGO Education materials have long been used by teachers to help students learn about robotics, simple machines, energy, forces, motion, structures and much more. With easy-to-implement activities, these materials can be successfully used by any teacher.
Created as a joint-venture in 1997 by Pitsco Education of Pittsburg, Kansas, and the LEGO Company in Billund, Denmark, the LEGO Education North America partnership exists to strengthen elementary, middle school and high school educational programs in the United States and Canada through future-relevant product development and outstanding customer service. Ongoing relationships with leading universities like Carnegie Mellon University and Tufts University, as well as industry-leading technology companies like National Instruments further strengthen LEGO Education’s offerings.
Join the fun at this year’s LEGO KidsFest by displaying your classroom’s
LEGO Education activities!
Have you enjoyed learning with the LEGO Education WeDo™ Robotics system? Did your class learn about forces of motion with the Simple and Motorized Mechanism Set? Have you explored gears and levers with one of the LEGO Education mini-sets?
Show your work and what you learned!
A special area will be set up for schools to display their recent activities. Build a model of something your class experimented with and write a brief narrative of what occurred and what was learned by the group. (Narratives are limited to 500 words or less)
Displays must be dropped off and signed-in, plus signed-out and picked up by a school representative. The dates and times of drop off are Thursday, November 19 from 12pm to 6pm and on Friday, November 20 from 12pm to 3pm. Pick up is slated for November 22 from 4pm – 8pm.
