On Central Expressway
Take Central Expressway (U.S. 75) southbound. Take exit to I-35/U.S. 77 to Field Street. Turn left under the freeway and veer to the right onto Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.
On the Tollway
Go south on the Dallas North Tollway. Take the Harry Hines/Downtown exit to Field Street to Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.
On Highway 183
Take Carpenter Freeway (I-183) east to Stemmons Freeway (I-35E) southbound. Take the I-45/U.S. 75 exit to the Griffin Street exit. The Convention Center is straight ahead. (Also works for those coming from Denton/Lewisville.) The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.
On I-35 from the South
Take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-35E) northbound. Take I-30 east to Griffin/Lamar exit. Stay in the left lane as you exit to continue on Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.
Take Julius Schepps (I-45) northbound. Take I-30 West to Downtown/Ervay Street exit to Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.
Take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-30) westbound to Dallas. Take the Downtown/Ervay Street exit from the left lane of the freeway. As you exit, you will be on Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the KBH Convention Center.
The Dallas Convention Center's two levels of the parking garage accommodate 1,200 parking spaces and are located beneath the main level of the exhibit space. The entrance to the parking garage is accessed at Griffin Street & Memorial Street. Parking is $12 per entry, no in and out.
Parking Lot C, located on Ceremonial Street & Lamar Street is directly in front of the KBH Convention Center’s C building and across from the Omni Hotel. Lot C has an additional 170 spaces. Parking is $12 per entry, no in and out.
Lot E is located off Hotel Street & Memorial Street has an additional 1,584 spaces. Parking is $10 per entry, no in and out.
DART-Dallas Area Transit
Red and Blue Rail Lines both stop directly at the Convention Center. For further information you may contact DART #214-979-1111 for fees and schedules or visit their website at www.dart.org.
The facility is in current compliance with all of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The facility has elevators, restrooms, concessions and telephones designed to accommodate the needs of those with physical and non-physical impairments.
The exhibit hall offers 10’-20’ aisle ways for easy maneuvering. Seating is available throughout the show floor.
Hearing Impaired/Sign Language Interpreter
Guests can request an ASL interpreter through Show Management. All requests must be made in writing and no later than two weeks before the first show day. Please email email@example.com.
While at LEGO KidsFest, be creative, get involved and have fun, but be sure to play safe. To ensure a safe environment for all attendees, Show Management requests adherence to the following basic rules:
- Children should stay with their parent/chaperone at all times
- Always walk, do not run: Be respectful of all other guests
- Locate the Lost Parent Zone upon entry
All bags will be checked upon entrance to the LEGO KidsFest. Guests should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by security staff to shift and possibly remove the contents. The following items are not allowed inside the event:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Animals (does not include service animals)
- Balloons (any)
- Coolers of any kind
- Illegal drugs
- Weapons of any kind*
*Please be aware that this includes off duty police officers
Refer to your program guide map for the location of First Aid. A trained medical professional will be in this area during event hours.
A private area is designated on, or near, the show floor (refer to your program guide map) for new mothers. Strollers are allowed in all areas of the show floor. The open floor plan and 10’-20’ aisles allow for stroller access.
The facility will be providing concessions at the event. Check back shortly before the event. If the facility has provided sample menus, we will post them here.
AT THE SHOW, SHOULD YOU BE SEPARATED FROM YOUR CHILD… go to the LOST PARENTS ZONE under the yellow Show Info tent, just inside the entrance to the show.
Every effort is made to ensure the safety of all attendees while visiting the LEGO KidsFest. In the unlikely event that you are separated from your parent or child while at the show, please follow these quick and easy steps:
1. Immediately come to the LOST PARENTS MEETING SPOT sign next to the yellow SHOW INFO tent by the main entrance.
2. Give the staff member at the SHOW INFO TENT a description of the missing person, what they are wearing, and where he or she was last seen. Safety tip: Take a head-to-toe picture of your loved one(s) with your digital camera or phone as soon as you arrive at LEGO KidsFest so we may more easily identify him/her in the outfit they are wearing.
3. Remain with the staff member at the LOST PARENTS MEETING SPOT until building security reunites you with your loved one!
In addition (for kids too young to remember your cell phone number), before coming to LEGO KidsFest, write YOUR name (not your child's name) and cell phone number on a piece of paper and place it in your child's pocket (or in their shoe if they don't have pockets).
Alternatively, you can also obtain one of our LOST PARENT Contact Cards at the SHOW INFO TENT after the show begins. Put YOUR name and cell phone number on the card, then place it in your child's pocket or shoe.
When your child arrives at the LOST PARENTS ZONE, we'll reunite you that much quicker!
